3:5. ಜೆರುಸಲೇಮಿನ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರೇ, ತಕ್ಕಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊದಲೇ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಬೆಳೆಯಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಜಿಂಕೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಕಾಡುಹುಲ್ಲೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿರಿ.

3:5. ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯನು ಮೆಚ್ಚುವ ವರೆಗೆ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ, ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಅಡವಿಯ ಜಿಂಕೆಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ದುಪ್ಪಿಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
